Unpopular opinion: I don’t think Kanye West is crazy!

Is it because I’m a little crazy too? I don’t know.

Is it because I’m a Gemini too? Perhaps.

I don’t know what it is, but I get this dude.

I understand him.

I don’t have to agree with him.

But I have empathy for him.

I can respect his views.

After all, I don’t know what it’s like to live in his reality.

I don’t know how I’d react if, I had a dream and everyone around me doubted me, overlooked me, and told me to stay in my lane, not dream too big. And against all the odds, I overcome them to become one of the biggest artists in the world. I don’t know what I’d do too.

Maybe, I’ll talk my shit too.

Maybe, I might trip on my own ego every now and then.

I’m human, after all!!

When I see Kanye, I see a human being struggling to be his unapologetic authentic self in a world that insists on dictating who you should be, and how you should conduct yourself, down to your very voting preferences.

I see a person in pain whose grieving, lonely, and yet eager, to share their gifts and light with the world.

I see a person who is struggling to discern purpose and direction amidst global success.

I see someone living from their heart and honoring their journey and where they’re at.

I see a courageous, truthful, and brave person, who is not afraid to say what he thinks and how he feels, even if it's at the wrong time, or even if it’s the ‘wrong’ thing to you.

I see a wizard and master at Manifestation.

I see a man who is aware of his genius and potential because it was nurtured in him by his mother.

I see a man, split into two: enslaved by his ego, and yet ruled by Spirit.

I see the dualistic nature of the archetype of the Gemini.

Here are 8 Major Things I Learned From Watching “Jeen-Yuhs”

1. You Have To Believe In Yourself.

The world will most likely not believe in you or see your potential.

But your self-belief will carry you through the season of your life when no one sees your value or potential.

Self Belief is key to achieving your goals.

Believe in yourself!

2. You Have To Visualize What You Want.

You have to see whatever you want in your mind and go after it with everything you’ve got. Even when doors are closed in your face.

In the documentary, Kanye shared how he used to practice his Grammy speech, even before he was accepted in the industry as a rapper.

Visualization is a powerful practice and tool used in the laws of attraction and science of manifestation.

3. You Need To Be Confident In Your Abilities.

Confidence is a consequence of self-belief.

If you’re going to achieve something, you’re going to have to be confident in your ability to get it done.

Kanye West has always been confident in himself and his abilities. To some, it borders arrogance.

For him, it's what he needs to get him to where he needs to be.

In my opinion, being overconfident or arrogant is better than having no confidence at all.

Of course, balance is the most ideal.

4. Your self-confidence will offend others!

If you’re too confident, you’ll offend others. It’s a fact.

But they’ll live.

And you’ll achieve your dreams with the help of your confidence.

5. Perseverance

Don’t give up.

On the journey to realizing your dreams, there will be obstacles in the way. There will be closed doors.

There’ll be naysayers. People will want you to “stay in your lane”. People will doubt you.

No matter the setbacks you face, you must always persevere.

Keep pushing and working in the direction of actualizing your dreams.

5. Take action and apply yourself

You cannot achieve success just by wishful thinking.

You have to work for it.

You have to apply yourself daily, and dedicate yourself to your craft.

If you have big dreams, you have to take action towards realizing those dreams.

6. Speak Highly of Yourself. Affirm Yourself.

Kanye’s mother affirmed him in ways that instilled in him the value of speaking highly of himself.

Why speak lowly of yourself? What value does that serve you?

Besides, what’s so bad about affirming the Genius in yourself if you plan on creating at a genius level?

Speak life and greatness over your life.

Quit playing small.

9. Let your heart lead the way.

Allow your heart to lead you on your journey throughout life.

Following the impulses of your heart may lead you down the journey of manifesting and creating the life of your dreams.

Kanye followed his heart which was in the music, and it led to the unfolding of an incredible life.

If you haven’t seen the documentary yet. I highly recommend you see it. Especially if you’re looking for a jolt of inspiration in your life.
